Founded in 1989, and located in Tampa’s unique Channelside Arts District, Spectrum Productions is recognized as one of Florida's leading creators of original programming and long-form productions.
In 2007, Spectrum launched Mindclay Creative from the same location, a creative agency that specializes in commercial production, design, interactive and animation. From the three-time Emmy® Award winning staff to the state-of-the-art facility, Spectrum continues to be a national force in delivering innovative content.
CEO & Executive Producer
Guy is a three-time Emmy® Award winning producer/director and President of Florida-based Spectrum Productions and sister company Mindclay Creative. Guy and his team at Spectrum have produced, directed and managed the production of over 500 episodes of television programming, ranging from docu-series and hidden-camera formats to how-to and animation.
VP of Programming
Elaine joined Spectrum Productions in 1999 and has supervised over 300 episodes of programming including 25 different specials or series. In addition she is a six time Emmy® nominee with three wins under her belt.
In 2007 Marc joined Spectrum Productions as Creative Director. His first task was to launch a creative agency that could serve a variety of clients in the entertainment, professional sports and business worlds. Since the inception of Mindclay, the team has garnered top accolades in both the entertainment and advertising industries and continues to combine technology, creativity and strategy for client solutions and innovations.
Prior joining the company, Marc served in several creative lead roles including Creative Director for Keyframe where he lead a team of over 20 artists across several studios in North America. In addition, Marc also served as Director of Creative Services for several Fox Sports networks as well as Senior Producer of Branding for global retail giant HSN.
Through his experiences, Marc has garnered several accolades including numerous National Promax/BDA, ADDY, Emmy® & Sports Marketing Awards.
VP of Operations
Ryan oversees the operations of both Spectrum Productions and Mindclay. His involvement in projects from concept to completion maximizes project efficiencies. Ryan manages productions ranging from Emmy® award winning television programs and advertising campaigns, to educational documentaries and live television events.
Prior to joining Spectrum Productions & Mindclay, Ryan was Director of Operations for one of the Northeast’s largest production and transmission organizations, VideoLink, Inc. For eight years, Ryan helped grow the organization from a staff of four to thirty. His experience over the years directing people, managing facilities and overseeing technical operations helps ensure all of the pieces of the production process are operating smoothly.
Matt has worked on a variety of projects ranging from commercial work and broadcast packages - to music videos and film titles. After receiving a BS in Design from the University of Cincinnati's Design Art Architecture and Planning program, he earned a position with Radium as Designer & Animator. After cutting his teeth on projects in Dallas, he moved to Chicago to Vitamin where he spent 3 years as Art Director and had the chance to work with clients such a Nike, Maroon 5 & Comedy Central - to name a few.
At Spectrum/Mindclay, Matt is part of an awesomely diverse team of creative thinkers & storytellers where he is focused on attacking projects from every angle.
Spectrum Productions has occupied a two-story building on a colorful block in the Channelside District for over a decade. The 13,000 square-foot space is comprised of edit suites, design & interactive studios, client lofts as well as production space. In addition, Mindclay, the creative agency owned by Spectrum also shares the space.
